This week we talked about the life cycle of plants and beans, in particular. We read Jack and the Beanstalk and then the children got to plant their very own bean plants. They learned that their plant would need sun, water, and good soil to grow well and produce their very own beans! They were very excited.
We read Little Critter's Jack and the Beanstalk by Mercer Mayer before planting our very own bean stalk! :)
The younger gardeners planted with pretend soil, seeds, and water! They had a ball!
